17 for Caprella?
What is your character's most unique physical attribute?
Honestly? Probably his hair. Most techpriests are bald as fuck, but Caprella has kept more of his face and scalp than the average priest for diplomatic purposes. It might not be practical, but showing up to events with a fresh fade is one vanity (and inefficiency) that he allows himself.

Thinking about how Caprella, being a Dominus, would probably have access to tall of Othala's background data.
He'd see that she was from Krieg. He'd see that prior to Skitariization she shot her unit's Commissar. He'd see that she had served for around 12 years before this.
And he'd see that she was taken to Sanctum Novis at around age 27.
It is common practice for Novites to either change their names entirely or adopt a rune or two once they arrive. Of the known Novites, it is only Magos Genator Ignaz-Skadi 2.0 whose previous designation is known - he was formerly known as Biologos-Genator 1818. This makes it difficult to track the origins of any Novite, and it is likely a deliberate practice to obfuscate the heretekal backgrounds of many of the Magi present on this Forgeworld.
Excerpt from the personal notes of Magos Dominus Caprella Delta-6.05 Algiz-1.0 of Mars in his capacity as a supervisor for Sanctum Novis
"Letter for you, Magos." The pre-recorded clip played from the mail courier servitor, extending a servo-claw to Caprella.
"Oh, thank you." Caprella said, slightly distracted as he took the letter. His parents, Omnissiah rest their souls, had instilled the habit of thanking people so firmly that to this day he still said please and thank you to servitors. It was a habit only broken by the focus of combat.
"Magos Dominus Caprella Δ-6.05 ᛉ-1 of Mars:"
Caprella flinched slightly at seeing his full title. He was still getting used to the Novite rune and number (Algiz-1, written in standard Gothic). It wasn't that he was bothered by it, it was just new, and using anything begond Caprella felt overly formal. He was the only damn Caprella of Mars, after all.
"You do not know me, but I am writing to thank you. 32 standard years ago, my parents, Genator 7-Alpha Hex Coil and Rogue Trader Carmella Freyja Valentina Diaz-Sigmundsen, asked for permission to use your donated haploid genotype in order to have a child of their own."
He remembered, softness creeping into the lines on his face.
"I wanted to let you know I have completed my training and am now inducted into the secrets of the Machine. Given the distance between Mars and your current station, it is also likely that even with warp travel by the time this letter reaches you, your grandchild will have been born. My wife and I wanted to thank you, for giving me and our child the gift of life."
