A six-woman ladder match to determine the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship was the only thing standing in-between Tegan and a shot at the championship that she’s never had a chance to compete for. The superstars involved were an impressive line-up... and then she was added to the fray by winning a gauntlet match on NXT. Tegan took a deep breath as she saw Dakota’s hand raised in victory. A thorn in her side that she couldn’t rid herself of. That’s the best way that she could explain this situation. Tegan pushed her fingers through her hair as she sighed that breath of air out. She was no fortune teller but Tegan already knew what was going to happen next. Dakota’s new bestie was going to somehow get involved in the match and she was going to screw Tegan out of the win. That’s what was going to happen, right? A little time passed and then she glanced over and saw Dakota and Racquel walking together and she tried her best to ignore them but to the surprise of no one, Tegan had no self-control. “Your bestie isn’t gonna be able to help ya in the ladder match!” the Welsh woman shouted.
