What's funny about willmack, especially as of late, is how obvious they are about liking each other more than they like anyone else

And I say 'as of late' because, since the Olympic return, I've noticed Mack taking on a much more obvious leadership role. It's not just that he's acting like he's already got the C, it's that everyone else seems to be acting like it, too

We all see how post Olympics those two have changed their dynamic a bit. More open about showing affection, having each others back unlike before where they knew they were scrutinised and were trying to hide it from the world and probably themselves. Post Pen and Olympics changed all that. It looked like both knew they were meant more to each other. I do a bit of tarot so take that with a heap of salt. It showed they were extremely happy, new relationship energy but not really verbalising any of the feelings.

Now that's been building for a while and affecting Mack more as he wants everything now ! Now! . Will is more of the weighing options, looking at optics and what not. Cue the soft launch joint edit where its ambiguous enough but for people who spot patterns know it for what it was.

Now comes Boston. Mack I'm sure knew Will had plans and was probably not surprised when he put his foot down and did not accompany him to the game. All this is not to say they are not solid. Like any relationship they need work. I know the imagined tension will be resolved in the 24 hrs and they will be back to their giggly selves.

And my opinion on why Will is humming and hawing? Its not the right time to start anything. They are most likely going in to playoffs and any change in personal life could affect their game . Wills more than Macks and Will knows it. But our feral messy boy hates waiting for anything for here we are..

Mack knows he has a crush and is overcompensating. Perhaps as an attempt to dissuade Will from interpreting his behaviour as romantic while being allowed to keep it up, yknow?

Mostly because it's almost a 1:1 on how they're acting ig

They're both giggling and blushing and smiling and touching all the time, so to me it wouldn't make sense for one to do so romantically while the other does the same things platonically? Like, we could make a pretty convincing case on both of them having a crush and tick many of the same boxes
