Cyberbots: FullMetal Madness

A quasi-sequel to Armored Warriors, Cyberbots: FullMetal Madness was released in 1995. However, while Warriors was a side-scrolling mecha-based beat-em-up, Cyberbots is a mecha-based one-on-one fighting game. It was released by Capcom, one of the masters of the genre, who were coming off the success of Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge, and X-Men: Children of the Atom. It saw release in Japan, with only an extremely limited run elsewhere, since becoming a cult classic. 

Street Fighter The Movie - Console Fighting Games of 1995

Street Fighter: The Movie (1995) is a digitized‑actor 2D fighting game developed by Capcom for the PlayStation and Sega Saturn, adapting the live‑action film that itself was based on the Street Fighter series. Unlike the separate arcade version, this home release plays much closer to Street Fighter II and Super Street Fighter II Turbo, retaining familiar inputs, special moves, and character archetypes while layering them over a unique visual style built from filmed actors portraying Ryu, Ken, Guile, Chun‑Li, M. Bison, and the rest of the movie’s cast.

The game features traditional one‑on‑one combat with special moves, combos, and character‑specific abilities, but its digitized presentation gives it a distinct identity within the franchise. A dedicated Story Mode follows the plot of the film, complete with FMV sequences between battles, while Trial Battle Mode challenges players with a series of skill‑testing encounters against Guile. Though unconventional, Street Fighter: The Movie stands as a fascinating mid‑90s experiment — a hybrid of Hollywood adaptation and classic Capcom fighting mechanics.

hol horse does not seem to have an AI but is a good character especially if you have an opponent who has a stand that ca separate from the user, for example avdol, kakyoin, DIO, or polnareff PROTIP: press the Stand button to deal damage

midler will fuck you up unless you block or dodge PROTIP: use that super where High Priestess comes out of the ground and eats your opponent

avdol has high priority and range he will fuck you up unless you use ranged moves or move quickly and decisively

chaka is either constantly blocking attacking or trying to “learn” your attacks

vanilla ice (non boss) if he doesn’t go into cream punch him until he dies
