What actually happens before your custom caps ship?
When you're running a clothing brand in the US or Europe, finding a reliable manufacturer overseas can feel like a gamble. Will the stitching hold up? Will the shape be ruined in transit?
At New Generation, we don't believe in "gambling" with your brand's reputation. Here is a behind-the-scenes look at the 5 rigid Quality Control (QC) steps every single cap must pass in our factory before boarding the cargo plane:
1️⃣ Fabric & Color Check: Before a single scissor touches the fabric, we test the cloth for colorfastness and durability. No one wants a black dad hat that turns gray after one sunny day.
2️⃣ Embroidery & Print Inspection: Our high-speed embroidery machines are precise, but humans are perfectionists. Every logo is inspected for loose threads or tension misalignments.
3️⃣ Panel Alignment & Stitching: A crooked front panel ruins a snapback. We use specialized molding tools to ensure the crown is 100% symmetrical.
4️⃣ The Shape Lock (Ironing & Molding): Caps are blasted with high-pressure steam on industrial head-forms to lock in that perfect, crisp retail shape that won't collapse.
5️⃣ Metal Detector & Final Count: Every cap passes through a needle detector to ensure 100% safety, followed by individual eco-poly bagging.
We run a certified, transparent supply chain (BSCI/Sedex ready) because premium brands deserve premium transparency.
