Oh I am so excited! Many painting sessions later my @thesketchbookproject #canvasprompt painting is complete. Yea!!!! My word was “cabbage” so here is a little bunbun happily sharing his prize winning cabbage with the world. He is in oils and is still drying a bit but as soon as he gets a layer of varnish he will go off to the Brooklyn Art Library where he will eventually get swapped for another artist’s canvas and make his way to his new home. Yesterday I finally got my #canvasprompt #canvasproject from @thesketchbookproject And the word I have is “Contraband” I’ve just looked at the definition, it means when “the goods wither import or export illegally or banned or bootleg” - I was really worried about that definition from that we’d.. but I did got responses: “Your prompt is just a jumping off point to inspire your work. You can paint it literally or abstractly, just be inspired by the word and it's what it means to you” I’ll do my best lol #canvasparty
