Today we visited Canton Tower, one of Guangzhou’s most famous landmarks and among the tallest towers in the city, to see the skyline from above. The crowds were intense, it felt like the entire city had the same idea. We bought the ticket package that included the Bubble Tram for a full 360 degree view, which cost 297 yuan. Without the tram, the ticket would have been around 150 yuan.
Ride the elevator to level 108, then climb to 111 for the ultimate view at Canton Tower.
From the top, the view was a vast concrete forest cut through by the river. Impressive in its own way, but I still prefer mountain landscapes like the ones in Zhangjiajie. Still, it was fun and felt good to try something new on this trip.
