𝓢𝓷𝓪𝓬𝓴 𝓑𝓲𝓽𝓮𝓼 ~ 𝓙𝓮𝓻𝓫𝓸 𝔁 𝓔𝓭𝓻𝓲𝓬

I passed through Bonesborough this morning to purchase a set of snacks for the day. Seeing as how I was in the detention track, there wasn’t much we could do when the teacher was awake since the entrance to the room of shortcuts was directly behind them. After persistent requests and countless classroom cleanups, the teacher allowed us to eat in class, advising to hide them if Principal Bump or any other administrator were to walk in the room.

I stopped at a stand that had freshly made fairy pies, reviewing the variety of options displayed when I saw one grow legs and hop towards my direction. I chuckled as I held out my palm towards it and it quickened its pace till it finally landed on my hand. I lifted it as it exclaimed, “Pick me, pick me,” and shivered with excitement and desperation to be chosen.

I analyzed it up and down and hummed, “Why, you do seem like an exquisite flavor, however I’ll have to decline since my friend Barcus isn’t fond of Cold Stone Fairies-”

”Oh but what about a certain someone, I’m sure they’ll appreciate me as a lovely treat their way!”

I simply smirked and shook my head as I turned with the pie still in my hand to see Edric, his hands going from his behind his back towards his face as he glowed with joy, “Aww Jerbo, how did you know that I was craving a fairy pie right now-“

”Well, pies don’t exactly resurrect in such a futile way, especially with a cute voice that reminds me of a certain snowflake of mine,” I smugly stated as I put the pie back down on the stand where it stomped back to where it was to land with a blue smoke and poof emerging. Arms wrapped around my torso with weight hitting against my back, “Welp, you missed the chance to purchase a talking pie, a delicious one at that.”

I loosened Edric’s arms embracing me and turned to face him, moving his hair from his face, “Worth missing out on it to see your pretty face.” Edric just smirked and rolled his eyes, tilting his head to look at me with hooded eyes, “Can see it any other time you ask Bobo.”

I could feel myself getting flustered as I turned back to the stand, “Well I’d love to see it at lunch today, if that’s alright with you?”
