hn. most fanfic setups in the Republic era have Padawans rooming with their Masters at the temple (sharing an apartment of sorts) but this doesn’t seem to be the case.

I like that Takeru is blatantly and unapologetically useless for the first half of Adventure, because he’s the youngest. I always think it’s silly when shows bend over backward to tell us that every main character has a Designated Purpose that makes them important to the group—they’re important to the group because they’re in the group, not because they have a certain skill or value. If some members are less capable and need to be looked out for, that’s fine. I like that Takeru is a crybaby, and I love his relationship with Yamato. It’s very difficult to write kids accurately but Takeru is spot-on for most of his run in Adventure. He grows up a lot and he tries to be mature, and even when he fails, it doesn’t mean he’s flawed. He’s just young.

...a background character from the beginning of "Schooled" caught my eye. Check out the girl in the yellow shirt on board the bus:

She also shows up later in "Revelation," this time in a different shirt. She's easy to miss, but look waaaaaaay at the back of the bus:

Forgettable enough character design, but...doesn't she remind you of anyone?

I'm fairly certain it's the same girl. The glasses and the outfit have changed, but everything else looks pretty much the same.
