The Aztec Eagle Warrior were among the fiercest of all Mesoamerican cultures. They won their place in the Eagle Class of Aztec culture by their skill, bravery and success in warfare. They were often the scouts who found the enemy then helped create and lead a strategy to defeat them. They were immediately recognized and feared on the battlefield for the eagle-like helmets they wore. They also adorned their armor and shields with feathers. The necklace will come to you packaged inside of a black velvet drawstring pouch nested in our deluxe gift box along with my signed certificate of authenticity. The coin medallion measures 1.5 inches (38mm) in diameter before mounting in the setting - the same large size as a United States Mint Morgan silver dollar. The coin is cast in lead free jewelry pewter and is hand finished. The bezel is solid metal alloy with a lustrous black finish The width of the pendant setting is approximately 1.61 inches (41.0mm) wide and 2 inches (50mm) tall including the bail at the top.The pendant, lobster claw clasp, cord end caps and jump rings are all genuine stainless steel - hypoallergenic, rust and corrosion resistant - all weather durable.
