DRSE Thinks
We know for a fact, cus candycornmobster said so, that nobody in particular is filling the Naegi slot. That means that nobody has protagonist-centered immortality, or protagonist-centered exemption from killing others. This opens the field to pretty much everybody in the remaining 15.
On one hand, they wouldnât have shown the four-way argument between Kayla, Faye, Amia, and Lydia if it werenât relevant to this or future proceedings. On the other, Drew doesnât really fit the description of people that Amia tends to hate, so unless itâs a case of mistaken identity, I doubt itâs her or Lydia. ...But then again, DR loves to pull that kind of thing.
Drew did not appear onscreen again after Camren collapsed in the cafeteria until she was revealed as dead. Is there significance here? Is there... an implication that Camren did it? Or am I the only one getting that? I mean, he was in the sickbay and everyone stayed in their dorms. It wouldnât be so hard for him to kill her at the time, wait until everyone went to bed, then drag the body to the kitchen for discovery.
Oliver is also a good contender in my mind for some reason. Whatâs the best way to convince people youâre innocent preemptively? Send them right to the scene of the crime. Nobody imagines a killer would direct them back to where they killed someone, do they?
If CCM is sticking to that facet of DR canon, the body discovery announcement isnât made until three or more people discover the body, either including or not including the murderer. Since there were three people who found her in the kitchen, thereâs room for both interpretations in this instance. If it DOES include the murderer, then thereâs some suspicion to be had for Prax, Jinwan, and June, isnât there?
It looks as though Drew was hit in the back of the head with something. The murder weaponâs going to have to come into play, I just know it. What could be a good damaging weapon? A stuffed bunny filled with rocks? A kitchen utensil? A fertilizer bag?
