H.O.P.E. Candleholder "Helping to Obtain Peace for Eternity" In honor of shining a light on ending Domestic Violence One of my favorite things is having a candle at home. It brings me comfort and makes me feel like I can truly feel relaxed and at peace. I think back to when I was a victim of Domestic Violence... I never had any candles. As I reflect on this, I know that I did not have any candles because during that time I never felt relaxed or at peace, I didn't even know what that felt like anymore. Now that I am free, I never take the feeling of relaxation and peace for granted. I light a candle today and every day for all the victims that have lost their lives to Domestic Violence or are imprisoned because of it.
