The Parchment Tablet Of Awakening And The Entreaty Of Satan
The 9th Writing Of Evoking The Demons Of Hell
At the beginning of Rites the sequence of Workings beginning here should always be observed, the Initiate starts by placing the Parchment Tablet Of Awakening upon the Working surface which is acting as the Altar, at the point the Initiate recites the following:
“Behold The Parchment Tablet Of Awakening . . . that sacred core of power which is imbued with the Sigilized energies of Satan, Lilith, Beelzebub, Abaddon and Lucifuge Rofocale . . . the five Grand Monarchs of Hell . . . there Infernal Currents contained here in this Sacrosanct Parchment!”
The Initiate now places their left hand upon the Parchment and continues:
“Let this Sacred Tablet be awakened once more . . . its parchment alive as flesh . . . the ink which has inscribed it fluid as blood . . . may it be given life again through the power of Our Infernal Father Satan who I now Call upon to preside over these pending Black Magick Arts!”
The Initiate now lights the Devotional Candle to Satan saying:
“In honour of Satan . . . Infernal Master of Hell and of this physical Dominion . . . I ignite this flame with devotion and allegiance and as a herald to the reciting of the Unholy Entreaty of Our Infernal Lord!”
At this point the Initiate reads aloud The Entreaty Of Satan:
“Satan . . . Grand Master of the Infernal Realms . . . Lord of the Kingdom of Shadows and the world of flesh . . . Dark King of the Demonic Legion . . . Adversary of the pale God of Light . . . I entreat you this night to imbue the Working which are to be practice with your ineffable power . . . to bring life once more to The Parchment Tablet Of Awakening . . . that it may reside as the core of the Sphere of Demonic Union . . . that sacred Sphere which is made manifest between the Grand Domain of Hell and the sphere in which the Infernal Initiate operates . . . enliven this Sacred Parchment Grand Lord of the Infernal that its power may once more erect the Sphere of Demonic Union through your unhallowed current and the Infernal Currents of your Four Ruling Monarchs at the apex of Hell . . . Ave Satanas!”
The Entreaty Of Satan now delivered the Initiate takes up the Obsidian Stone which is The Black Key and which for now remains veiled in material.
