Julie had an interview saying if the show was to be canceled the cast would return to mystic falls. The way Joseph was begging for ratings reminded me of TNLOCK the main actor quietly tweeted that and then we discovered the show had dropping ratings later
Well I doubt that would happen for a few reasons. Being demoted from the lead of your own show to a supporting villain of the show you started on would be a big demotion for JoMo. Also I think the TVD budget is probably going to be cut, so I don't know if they could even afford to pay the TO cast to rejoin TVD. But it's kind of a moot point anyway, because regardless of the drop in ratings it really is pretty unlikely that TO will get canceled, the earliest it could possibly happen is this time next year which I still think is fairly unlikely.
