My 4 year old daughter was excited to read ‘Can a Princess Be a Firefighte ?’. She asked about the different careers that were mentioned and we discussed the various professions. The author includes jobs that are traditionally known for males such as a construction worker discouraging gender bias. The most important takeaway, “It’s important that you like your job. It should make you happy every day.” I LOVE the moral of the story, encouraging little ones to follow their dreams! The story conveys to our girls that they should love what they do and they can achieve whatever they want and still be a princess. What a perfect book for little girls reminding them sky’s the limit and to be happy with what they do!
