Oooh honestly I am currently writing a chapter for my Bill/Augustin fic that once it's done will probably be my favourite? But I absolutely cannot go into that one without giving many, many spoilers away, so let's ignore that for now 😅

Not particularly recently, but chapter 21 of soft voices is still my favourite thing I've written in a very long time. It was just so satisfying to write. Both the actual performance part of it and the aftermath when I got to really hit home what the entire fic was about. (For anyone who hasn't read it, in the story Eoin is a musician and that chapter is a performance of a song he wrote for Paddy).

And I've had the most amazing comments from people saying they felt like they were in the room while Eoin was playing. It helped that I based it on an actual, existing song that people could play while they were reading, but I doubt a lot of people actually did that.

FUUUCK i thought it'd be funny to sprinkle in questions that writers would hate to answer i didn't realize it'd be used against me. uh. definitely stating that it's an isekai because that's like a trope so that'll help with like search optimization? also im sure the concept of steven demayo is common enough in the su fandom to be an au that i can tag as well. aside from that i tag on a "fuck man i'll know it when i see it" basis

3. Post your favorite line from any of your WIPs.

this is one i already did so i'm gonna do. another one i like!!

it really depends! longfics i usually tend to plan out in immense detail and then never write (drop it, doe eyes im looking at you) but recently i've kind of been pantsing icl. if you asked me last week if the next part of moments of death was gonna have 1.6k words of homoerotic bruise touching i would have laughed at you.

💻 Do you do research for your fics? What’s the deepest dive you’ve done?

SO MUCH it is my absolute favourite part of writing <3 and the deepest dive i've done recently probably goes to the aforementioned next part of moments of death. in which i borrowed and read a book called British and Commonwealth merchant ship losses to axis submarines, 1939-1945 from the internet archive for a filler conversation 💀
