even tho it’s not really camilo per say, here’s a sketch from when I was doing some face studies for camus and milo

that’s sadly all I have to offer for the moment 😔

Et je suis totalement fan de tes fan arts ! Vraiment en espérant que tu posteras d’autres dessins sur d’autres personnages, j’adorerais voir le reste du cast dans ton style ! ❤️

je suis au regret d’annoncer que non je ne suis pas français x) en revanche je sais parler français oui

alors loin de moi l’idée de me prétendre pro en la matière, mais parmi les fanfics camilo françaises que j’ai pu lire au cours de ma vie, les deux que j’ai le plus aimé lire c’est Errance Nocturne de Dreamingindividual et évidemment Les Clés De La Haine de newgaia (que je n’ai lu que très récemment comparé à la première !)

pour la première c’est une fic qui commence 3 mois après la résurrection des golds, où on retrouve un milo insomniaque qui se retrouve tirailler entre cauchemars et souvenirs traumatiques et qui va apprendre à vivre et guérir de tout ça, épaulé notamment par camus (évidemment) qui va le soutenir dans sa guérison. petit tw pour des sujets liés à l’automutilation et les idées noires en général, mais l’auteur précise avant le début des chapitres si besoin ! bref, c’est une de mes fics préférées, elle me met du baume au coeur à chaque fois. c’est un vrai plaisir à lire. et j’A-D-O-R-E la relation hyoga-milo dedans, ils sont à mourir de rire ces deux cretins (le « canard dansant » me tue de rire encore maintenant)

et pour les clés de la haine. purée. que dire ? cette fic elle m’a retourné, renversé, complètement emporté. j’ai mis 2 semaines à la finir ! (parce que 600k mots c’est pas rien et que bah malheureusement y’a la fac quoi et que je pouvais pas lire en continu 😭) (et j’ai mis 4 jours à m’en remettre lol) elle m’a broyé le cœur comme elle a aussi pu me l’alléger, c’était une vraie aventure mais je dois néanmoins poser de gros tw ici notamment sur des sujets comme les violences s, la torture et autres (toujours précisés en début de chapitre si besoin).

cette fic reprend l’idée de la résurrection des golds mais avec un twist ultra ingénieux. elle mélange aussi bien drama, mystère et donc pas que de la romance, le tout articulé autour d’un scénario impeccable. le style de l’auteur est incroyable et j’ai réellement passer un super moment en lisant cette fic. et si jamais des gens qui lisent ce post ont déjà lu cette fic, sachez que nous serons à jamais lié par notre haine de zoltan /hj

ces deux fics ont d’ailleurs été réécrites ! donc les deux histoires sont impeccables :)

this scene is so utterly heartbreaking and so uniquely bittersweet. I remember seeing for the first time and staring at it with tears in my eyes, completely in shock. tbh the whole scene, from Saori’s famous “take my life” followed by Chikyuugi playing in the background makes me bawl my eyes out every single time

but this particular part of the scene just kills me every time.

everything in it is so beautifully painful. as you rightfully said, Camus’ inability to see or feel Milo’s presence, but also hearing his shaky breaths and sobs is so powerful and this coupled with Milo falling to the ground while desperately holding Camus is…….. way too much for my poor heart. + there’s a very strong feeling emanating of this scene because of Milo’s feelings from on scene to another. we first see milo perfectly calm and almost detached from what is happening when he’s with Saori, then we see him enraged and bitter about what happened in the Virgo temple, and then we see him completely break down after getting to realise what’s really happening and seeing his best friend again. it’s so deeply human. it’s like he’s letting go of the role he’s supposed to play as a saint for a split second. but only a split second because the world needs them. the world still needs them and they were born and trained to die for the world, so there’s no time for this. for them. it’s like he only lets his grief take over for a split second, with everything that comes with it, be it anger, hurt, bitterness, sadness, affection. the realisation that what he thought was the resurrection of his friend, followed by his “betrayal” was nothing but a smoke screen.

the fact that this scene is not in the manga but still follows Kurumada’s idea of Camus and Milo being close friends, to the point where it’s canon that Milo takes up Camus’ role as the mentor and master of Hyoga (as stated in the Saint Seiya encyclopaedia) is a very nice addition.

and the fact that the both of them are side by side in front of the lamentation wall before dying, as if their first thought was to get close to eachother before dying is absolutely killing me !!! in the best way possible.

(camilo holds a very specific place in my heart as one of my very first queer ship and the fact I grew up with it makes especially unique to me. I learned about it when I was around 10, loved it when I was a teen, and now that i’m 20 it still deeply resonates with me but in a new way that’s ingrained in who I am now. that ship grew up with me and I think that’s a very unique feeling that I only experience with very little ships that I like)

Milo and Camus ~ Saint Seiya

During the Scorpio temple fight, there’s a flashback of Aquarius Camus going through the temples and Scorpio Milo questioning his friend’s motive in facing Hyoga/ Magnus in particular. Of course Camus gives a cryptic message that Milo understood hence him explaining Camus’s feelings towards the Swan knight.
