There is still time to sign yourself up for tonight's talent show! Just come and find one of our counsellors as soon as possible and let us know what you would like to do!

We can't quite believe it but we are half way through the session now! We really hope that you have enjoyed your first week with us and that it has been full of exciting new experiences. We hope that you have made new friends and are starting to feel at home here on campus and that you have managed to catch up on sleep and have a more relaxing day today. A lot of you have homework assignments due tomorrow so we will be using the marquee and classrooms behind it for homework club this evening and will have lots of our counsellors on hand to help you out. For those of you that have finished your homework, we will be showing the Olympics in the JCR and will also have a range of board games.

We hope you enjoyed your lie in and brunch this morning and your free time around Oxford. This afternoon we have our ORACLE talks, giving you the opportunity to experience two university style lectures on two really interesting topics. EFL students will have talks on dance psychology and hip-hop/economics and other students will have talks on life and adventures and dance psychology.

Today you have morning lessons followed by lunch and afternoon activities. You should already have signed up to either a visit to the Oxford Castle, The Ashmolean Museum, Magdalen College, Christ Church, the Scavenger Hunt or Punting...there's plenty of choice! If you have not yet chosen an activity, please come to the counsellors office during lunch.

Please make sure you have signed up to one of the following activities for this evening: 1. Sports 2. Film night 3. Homework club 4. Board games 5. Tie-dye

Today, you will have morning lessons followed by lunch and then Insight Masterclasses. These are workshops on a broad range of different topics, led by experts in their fields. After dinner we will be running counsellor led activities. You will have a chance to sign up for these at lunchtime today.

What is the world's tallest mountain? Which spell is used to open doors in Harry Potter? What is the largest organ in the body? It is almost time for our quiz night! You will be divided into your houses before we begin and will compete in smaller teams against the other houses. Our four houses are Sun, Moon, Stars and Earth and this is your first opportunity to be awarded house points. Good luck everyone!

We hope that your first morning of lessons went well. We will be meeting in the marquee at 4pm for our tours of Oxford and then this evening's schedule will be as follows. 6-7pm- Dinner in the dining hall. 7.15pm- Quiz night in the marquee. 10pm- Evening shout in the marquee. 10.30pm- Curfew in your own bedrooms.
