The camp that I’ve been to every summer since 3rd grade is being sold. It’s heartbreaking really. That camp has had a major role in shaping me into the person I am today. The community there helped me grow as a person. I found comfort in the noisy days and silent nights. It was my home.. It IS my home.  I’m so incredibly heartbroken and mad and confused. That place was a part of my life. My summers were planned around working at camp. The off season was spent thinking about home many day until camp. This change affects so many people. Michi-Lu-Ca is in the hearts of so many people. It feels like someone is just taking away a part of me.  I take so many memories with me from there. The years I’ve attended as a camper and the last three years working on staff there. That place changed me; it changes everyone who walks through those gates. Â
