Quite good once I got used to the writing style. An acquired taste, but Zade and Addie grew on me.

It was a bit predictable. And the writing felt cringe to begin with. Kind of early Wattpad vibes. I got over it, but definitely not a masterpiece.

Did icyifk come from this? Also why is Addie called the manipulator? I like kind of get it, but it never felt relevant. Its just an eyecatcher for the book synopsis.

And I am surprised there is a prequel for Sibby, when this book feels near erotica. Wasn't the doll girl a teen? Or just described as young looking maybe. Maybe I am projecting.

Did I actually like this book or did I just binge it? I thought I liked it but maybe I'll rethink after reading book 2. Depending if it is better or worse than a 4.

I also had to warm up to this. Been a hot second since I've read true dark romance. So I don't want to fault it too much for not vibing with the beginning.
