          she  takes  her  time ,  almost  too  much  time  to  bring  the  cigarettes  between  her  ruby  red  lips  and  take  a  long  drag . the  soft  burn  on  her  throat  that’s  become  familiar  over  the  years  spreads  the  warmth  inside  her  body ,  and  the  sensation  feels  good ----  so  incredibly  good  that  her  eyes  involuntarily  come  to  a  close .  this  mixed  with  the  ringing  buzz  of  all  the  alcohol  she  has  consumed  in  the  last  few  hours  and  the  light  night  breeze  that  is  blowing  over  her  shoulders  is  the  atmosphere  she  feels  most  comfortable  in .  “ d’you  think  they’d  think  about  changing  the   music  any  time  soon ? ”  caterina  asks  the  person  next  to  her  as  her  head  gestures  to  the  building  just  behind  them .  “ because  frankly ,  i  am  quite  tired  of  listening  to  the  same  damn  song  for  the  seventh  time  in  the  row . ”
