After looking around for a few moments the young thief placed her hands on her hips. "Ya know...this is not where we were trying to go Uli," she said.
"I can see that...now," he mumbled. Beside him he could hear an all to familiar annoyed sigh of their other female companion.
"That's what we get for trusting you to do something right..." she commented.
"Tetra, Callida, please, I'm sure that he didn't mean to lead us the wrong way," Illian, Uli's brother, said. "We're a little low on supplies anyway, let's stay here a few days and figure out things," he added.
"As always you have a point Illian," Tetra, the thief, said with a little laugh. "Good thing we're not just stuck with your brother!"
"Und what is that supposed to mean?!" Uli said.
"It means I wouldn't hold back on you..." Callida said before turning to Tetra. "Let's go find a place to stay for a few nights while the boys find places to get supplies." Tetra grinned and nodded before waving to the boys and leaving with Callida.
When they were gone Illian turned to his twin. "You're even more homesick than I am...aren't you bruder?" he asked. Uli crossed his arms a looked in another direction.
"I really was trying to lead us the right way..." Uli grumbled.
"Und that's why I can see the estate in the distance, ja? You know if we were headed the right way we wouldn't be in the town near home," Illian contested. "Whether or not you want to say it out loud you miss our family a lot, why else would your feet lead us here."
"Uli. It's been a few years now. I know you're trying to be all cool und all...but..." he trailed off softly with a sigh. "Alright fine, how about you go und get the supplies. I want to see mama, papa, und some of our cousins. Whether or not you tell the girls the truth about this place is up to you, just try to stay out of trouble, ja?" his twin said before turning to walk away.
