vox absolutely having an auto translate feature

- includes a togglable overlay in his vision im picturing the s03 sherlock villian's mind palace ykwim

- it pulls up sentences said to him phrases may have been previously used in - causes.. problems

he choses not to understand val for several reasons:

he's racist (obvi)

deniability - val can call him love/r/whatever & its totally nothing bc he doesnt know what it means. (he does) he doesnt!

he's an asshole

alastor - you cannot convince me that man didn't slur cajun french at an equally drunk vincent on multiple occasions.

- he's been called amor before, in a different font. he tries not to think about it.

- french is banned from vee tower

5. he's a stupid prick on the verge of fumbling 2 baddies.

he can turn the auto translate on/off, its almost always off so when he does turn it on for a meeting he forgets to turn it off

even if it is off, at his core he's a computer i think it still inputs the same does that make sense - ie val using "mi querido" feels the same as alastors "mon cheri" regardless of if he knows or not

- val used it once after meeting w some russian mob guy and vox full spiraled over it

vox hates the tenth doctor (bc ofc vel is watching doctor who reruns on Saturday mornings like the rest of us) specifically bc of the word allonsy
