So my mom has an incurable disease called calciphylaxis (among other things) in which the body makes too much calcium which causes skin to look like rotting black in those areas. She almost died from it three years ago and is now on he road to full recovery from three amputations that stopped the illness from getting worse. She still has calciphylaxis but it is not affecting her currently. We struggle to get everyday things done, but thankfully we have many friends and family who help us with things like grocery shopping and getting my little sister and I to school. However, my mom wants to do these things on her own, or at the very least help with more things. So we’re trying to raise money for a special wheelchair that she can lift and put away by herself so that she can take us places by herself. It’s very expensive and we do not have the money to buy it as we recently moved. Please donate a bit of money or maybe reboot this post and spread the word. I just want a taste of the good old days when life was simpler. The whole ordeal made me feel like I had to grow up faster and honestly hated it. Not knowing if my mom would live to see me graduate and reassuring my little sister who was seven years old at the time that everything would be alright when I could only hope that it wasn’t a lie. Sorry if this sob story is a bit too much because it was too much when I was living it. Anyways, guys, please donate. Uhm, peace out? (Idk help the awkwardness I felt before is back!)
