🌺 what is the best gift someone has ever given you and why is it so important?

Hmm... I'm not sure really. In terms of practicality my laptop has been a great hs graduation gift from my mom. My sister is the most indulgent with me with things my mom wouldnt get me (the shade plush, Hell Followed With Us) But really the gifts that mean most to me are letters and cards I can reread. Tangible written words that someone actually cares. It means the world to my depressed anxiety-riddled brain to have something convince it it's wrong about my social standing every time.

uuuhhhhmmmmmm.... I've met celebrities? Technically? Mostly through my work at the box office. I dont have insane stories or anything like that because I don't know celebrity names well nor am I allowed to interact with them back stage or anything like that. I'm also largely two or three degrees removed from a lot of notable art/comic people because of my professors.

I really don't know. I don't think my life is crazy in any sort of interesting way.

I am so profoundly biased I almost feel bad answering this question but: read the books first. it's a long series and it certainly has its issues (some of which have to do with the fact that it's a long series) but I personally feel like it's more rewarding to watch the tv show with the background of the books than it would be to read the books after watching the tv show.

Fun fact! I just realized these asks we’re about any hypothetical film you could make, not just about one about your life. Jfnskdnsndns I swear I’m not self centered just misunderstood the assignment but I’m still sticking with it for consistency’s sake.

2. what’s the story audiences will be watching in your film ? (challenge: one-sentence synopsis.) 

Hmm..

Follow the life of artist Integrity <last name> as they navigate the turmoils of adulthood while trying to make their life into something they could be proud of. Unable to deny how little they know and can handle, haunted by their yearning and career stresses, they must acknowledge their past to see how they grow and finally learn how to be happy.

5. what would the opening scene look/sound like ? 

As I said in the other one, itty bitty me! It’s a lil corny opening with a child hood shot, but it’s also a great use of showing how people change over the course of their life. And I’ve changed a lot. Plus foreshadowing.

15. what would the ending scene look/sound like ?

Montage as I said! Ending montages are corny as hell but can be effective in conveying a lot of info into the “epilogue” esp in a not so dense way.

17. you’re being interviewed on the film before its debut in cinemas, and the interviewer wants to know what you long for most after a long, grueling day ?

“I want to relax. Shower and get into comfy clothes. And I really wanna cuddle and not have to do anything else for the rest of the evening.”

18. the interviewer continues: what are you most looking forward to ? 

1. What’s your hamartia? Your tragic, fatal flaw? (Pride, arrogance, ambition, vanity, jealousy, rebellion, etc.)

Hm... Lately I have been told I'm flying too close to the sun with my ambition. But idk if that'll do me in? I feel like my pride/need to be independent/appear okay is more likely to do me in. Works better narratively too, someone afraid of being alone bringing said isolation upon themselves in the name of doing things right or not being a bother.

10. Do you believe in fate? Are some things meant to be?

I don't think so. Forces have influence yes, and said forces can be literal divine forces, but there is no soulmates au sorta bs at play. There is hardly any "meant to be" just us being dealt or given cards. And everyone working the influence to their own benefit/agenda.

21. “The quality of mercy is not strain’d, / It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven”. Are you merciful? Or, if you do not know, if given the opportunity to forgive someone who had wronged you greatly, would you forgive them?

I'm not sure. Merciful sounds too embellished to have a clear meaning. I'm kind, but im unmoving in my boundaries. If I havent forgiven you for wronging me at this rate, I doubt I ever will. I'm fairly understanding and compassionate. But I may bury the hatchet anyways for the sake of moving forward if circumstances deem it needed.
