Today was a good day for #podcasts: First there was @calababes featuring @tylerposey58! This was more lighthearted compared to the two he’d recently guested on; talking about cooking in the nude, playing Christmas parties and being a good date for yourself! That last part really hit home for me because it was about being kind to yourself which I need to work on but, also, I’m a great Valentine’s Date to myself! Whenever I’ve had boyfriends around Valentine’s Day, they’ve been so selfish and thoughtless, that I’d end up in tears. Actually, both of my relationships ultimately ended because of something involving Valentine’s Day. So thank you #Calababes and #TylerPosey for being very #cute, #funny and allowing me to reflect on my #selflove and past relationships! The second podcast I listened to was The @bouletbrothers Brothers’ “#CreaturesoftheNight”, returning from a short hiatus to film some @bouletbrothersdragula related content! This was a #Halloween episode talking celebrating the best night during the pandemic. There was a review for “Host” and I laughed because they said that they weren’t sure if a haunting/procession/seance would work in a Zoom meeting but I can tell you it works because there was an episode of Buffy in 1997 dealing with that and the 2014 movie, Unfriended, had a similar storyline so the concept isn’t new.
