that’s  why  olive  is  THE  scariest  sim.  she  murders  you  SO  HARD,  you’re  not  even  the  same  person  afterward.  it  fucks  up  your  ENTIRE  existence.  but  she  actually  fucks  up  many  of  her  victims’  life  state  coding  when  resurrected.  ( albeit,  knut  is  infamous  for  being  the  most  fucked  up  one,  and  also  having  a  funny  name  at  that )

for  example,  this  is  melissa.  another  victim  of  olive’s.  she  is  supposed  to  be  a  teenage  girl.  but,  if  resurrected,  the  game  will  recognize  her  as  an  adult  man,  thus  she  will  have  the  adult  male  voice,  and  she  is  also  a  day  away  from  being  an  elder.  despite  having  the  appearance  of  a  feminine  teenager. 

upon  looking  at  her  character  data,  this  was  one  of  the  portraits  she  also  has,  note  the  unused  hair ( which  ISN’T  in  the  final  version  of  the  game )  and  completely  different  facial  structure.

"Really? Damn, that sounds useful, must provide a lotta food! No wonder I ain't seen one on this shithole of a planet 'fore now." He's not sure if they have them in higher class places, but he's certainly never seen one.

“I’d ask if the stars surrounding your planet fried your brain, but now that I’m thinking about it, you probably don’t even know what photosynthesis is.”

“I don’t have time to explain the major differences between plants and birds.” Heh. Plants and birds, birds and the bees. Heheheheh.

"Mraaaah!" here comes Tilly, demanding attention

“Huh?” Oh that’s a meow! He hadn’t brought Skip with him, did he? It’s a stupid thought but for all he knows, he could have and forgotten about it. He looks down to see a cat meowing at him for attention.

“Awww. Hi there!”, he says softly, leaning down to pet Tilly. A few pets to the head followed by gentle scratches under her chin. “You’re so cute! What’cha doin’ all the way out here, huh?” 

If he had a dollar for every time he'd been asked that particular question he'd be a pretty wealthy man.

With a slow turn of his head, the lenses of his mask narrowing slightly at the sight of the other, Miguel lets out a small sigh as he looks around the barren looking town he'd found himself in.

Nico looks paper white, barely standing. They understand fear and survival. Now they understand guilt too.

Had they not taken Vash's friends here, perhaps he wouldn't have come at all. Perhaps they wouldn't have had to learn and understand

They move without completely realizing it, straightening and striding with purpose around the corners separating them from the others, from the one who killed their second brother and just left him in a pile on the ground--!!!

Zazie rounds the last corner at a near run, every single Worm in their swarm vibrating in a swelling sound of pure insect rage. But they stop before nearing the other two, enough logic in the Hive itself to keep the little swarm from foolishly attacking the monster walking away from them. The swarm is only vaguely keeping their form together, mass shifting and flexing as whole insects peel themselves away from the whole and resettle, only one large, poison-green eye with hair thin slit left whole and unchanging, staring after the Plant and Nico.
