it had been hard for singledad!michael ever since his little girls mom passed. late night meals that involved lots  kid cuisines and heated up chinese food things were rough. from getting little maya up and running for school in the morning, to going to the run down cafe behind their house always happening to see you there. you were always tucked quietly in the corner, a book in one hand and a caramel frappucino in the other. you were always enthralled in the story, the movement of the words in your brain. so one day when michael walked into the small shop to see you in your signature spot, but with no book, no caramel frappucino, just some tear stained cheeks, he decided to have little maya hand you your caramel frappucino to you to cheer you up when she says, "my daddy said to give this to you but he told me not to tell you you're really pretty. oops." and you thought maybe this could spark a little something more than a stupid caramel frappucino.
