Meet your maker || Bek & Cake
Getting to rifle through the various abandoned and destroyed SHIELD bases had made several exciting additions to Bek’s to do list.  Some of them were good for the Initiative, others were more like side project.  This one had become more of a passion project.

Two androids, decommissioned due to internal damage from infected nanites.  And in stating that there was damage, it was an understatement, between the two bodies there was only enough for three quarters of one body, the rest had been pulled together from scratch.  Agents Cheesecake and Beefcake, designed for honeypot missions.  Bek could think of some far less crass applications for artificial intelligence, she was adding it to her list of things she really didn’t like about her former employer.

Of the two, the most salvageable parts came from Cheesecake. Â But there was something abominably fetishist about giving breasts to a robot. Â On the slab -- which she had covered with a crochet blanket for these final stages, it made things seem a lot less sterile, safer -- was a human form with more or less male facial features, and dark hair. Â She had dressed him, as all she had left to do now was finish uploading his brain. Â She was watching the progress bar like a hawk.

She hadn’t told anyone she was working on this, in truth, she wasn’t sure it would work.  Cheesecake required a lot of things that she had never worked with, for one.  Nanites, for one, were new ground.  But over the last couple months, she had learned so much.  It felt good to work on something new.
