Some people ask me why do I ship Del Los Santos and Shakes? Well.. in simplest way to say it, because they are genuinely the most sweetest and the most green-flag couples in the supa strikas!!
The long answer is that, even with their rivalry, Del Los Santos never even sabotaged Shakes's or Supa Strikas plan/game. And he cheered on Shakes when he won against him! π He's genuinely so supportive of Shakes and his team, it's a personal reason of mine too actually.
He's different from the other main antagonist, where in a lot of his episodes it helped Shakes to learn about a thing or two, not how to get out from this [sabotaged plan made by the opposing team]
Though, I Head-canon Shakes to be a little bit prideful especially when it was from his rival or an opposing team. Though I would say that Santos is very π©π©π©π© flag β¨β¨ I mean, aside from teasing and being a teeny arrogant he's still a good and supportive rivals!
