Hello, and thank you for the kind words! I think Yarrow and the Caged Fae story are some of my most popular ever, actually. Though I am also writing a new story involving a mute monster saved from imprisonment by the reader…. Perhaps it will strike a similar chord!

As for facts about Yarrow… I never came up with much specifically, as he was meant to be rather mysterious. I do know that his is a relatively young Fae, and rarely ventured outside of Faerieland before, hence his capture. A more experienced Fae could have avoided it. He’s not reckless so much as awfully curious. He feels strongly in debt to the reader for saving him throughout the story, both due to genuine gratitude and general Fae rules of reciprocity. The feelings do develop more romantically, though!
