Last moment in Venice at the girls' favorite place. I can have tea when it is very hot outside, they love their hot chocolate whatever the weather too. @caffeflorian, situated in the Procuratie Nuove of Piazza San Marco, was founded in 1720 and is said to be the oldest cafe in the world. So -- as you might imagine -- they aren't known for vegan eats, but I was still keen to to visit. Una coppa di frutta Macedonia naturale (fruit cocktail without cream) isn't particularly thrilling to order in a place known for its luxurious pastry, yet there's something about red velvet benches and legit baroque gold leaf mirrors that's pretty awesome and makes everything taste better. Caffè Florian, Piazza San Marco, Venezia, Italy 🇮🇹

As you can probably tell, I am super excited for my trip to Florence next month. I have recently started plotting my itinerary and have included a day trip to Venice, which can be reached by train in just over 2 hours. My first stop on arrival will be the storied Caffè Florian, the oldest café in the world.
