i have too many ocs to name but I just finished ruri’s ref sheet so i’ll talk about her?
ruri imada is a city werewolf running a pack of displaced and disenfranchised kids. she likes bright colors and is always covered in plasters and patches. she likes rough housing, isn’t afraid of getting in a fight, and is a bit more leap-before-she-looks than perhaps a pack leader should be.
she dropped out of school and worked from a young age before her pack formed, so she doesn’t have a formal education, but she’s still smart and persistent with her pursuit of knowledge when she needs to know something that she doesn’t yet.
she projects a no-nonsense attitude, but she isn’t as serious as she seems, a fact her girlfriend knows quite well. she secretly loves puns and cheesy jokes, at least, she laughs at all the ones her girlfriend tells.
she is a ride or die friend, and even if she’s cussing the whole way she’ll back you and your stupid plans up. well, by “you” i mean herb, because herb and her pack.
anyways, i love her ;v; she’s rad. her werewolf form is mostly brown (her natural hair color) but bits are red since she’s dyes her hair.

They’re not doing anything NOT to have a child, tbh. I can’t find the post detailing that in our headcanon a lot of people are infertile in the wasteland - or at least have trouble getting pregnant. (Meg prolly doesn’t get regular periods either - just fyi. But it’s not a big deal, not something she really cares about.) Point is that it’s dumb luck (or the opposite of that) that Meg hasn’t gotten pregnant yet. I might write a kid in for them later in their life, who knows! I played around with the idea of Buttons adopting Bumble when I was new to Fo3 and they also have a “what if” child called Muttons - who’s not canon for now. He’s the closest they’ve had to a child lol(Additional masterpost of “what if they had kids” posts)
question: how the fae deal with history majors? do they enjoy the mithology and seek out to them or they feel disrespected by them?
On the whole they’re pretty amiable towards history majors, who tend to have good stories (new stories, even!) and are also often a willing audience.
About the mummy thing actually it is not like they liked mummyfying as much as they liked the animal. they believed that when you died your spirit went on a journey on the underworld where it would be judged and eventually it would come back to your body. so they did the whole mummy thing to them as part of preserving the body. when they did thid to animals it was why they believed that their spirits would also return and they would need their body mostly intact then.
