so we all knew that Misyr is the first one we met when we opened the door, and not only that, he hugged us the instant when we opened the door, and there is a couple of reasons behind that. 

Unlike other common customers who have their own world, family and friends, Misyr only has that hopeless world and himself. All he basically does in the other end of that door is waiting and talking to himself. Everyday, he spend half of his day in exchange for the other half day’s happiness. When he was kicked out by your grandfather like other common customers, for Misyr, this could be the end of his precious happy life. And he has literally no idea if he can go back to Cafe Enchante or not. So he just kept waiting in front of that door, too scared to miss the moment when the door is opened, and he does that for months after your grandfather’s death, I just couldn’t imagine what it feels like to be him at that stage, he might have thought, this could be the end, that 15 years would be his only happy time in his endless life, or not. So everyday, he is waiting, hopefully and hopelessly at the same time. Which is why, the second you opened the door, he rans into you, I can’t imagine how happy Misyr is to finally meet you, after such a long waiting, not only the door is opened, and he gets to see you. the person he has been wanting to meet the whole time. 

Now I just couldn’t bare to read the description of him meeting you the “first” time, his eyes are wet, and he is hugging you like the most prescious, fragile thing in the world.
