Connor has a crush on the new customer who owns the flower shop next door, but he's very shy. So Markus helps him out a bit by having him deliver his coffee order ☺️☕️💐

~Master List~
It was a Monday morning 6:15am when Brian clocked in for his opening shift. His manager Jiho was on vacation so he and his coworker Kyrell were left to their own devices. Well that was if Kyrell even showed up. Brian had been going around the shop preparing for customers. He walked around pulling all the chairs off the tables from when the closing shift mopped the floors last night. Thanks to his tired brain it seemed as though the chairs just went on forever. After what felt like forever Brian was finally on to wiping down the counters, an activity he found way less irritating compared to the chairs. He had been tidying up, turning on cash registers and coffee machines for forty minutes now they opened in 5 minutes yet his coworker Kyrell was still nowhere to be seen. That was until Kyrell burst in the doors
“Sorry I'm late man, I missed my alarm,” Kyrell said with a positive yet apologetic tone. Brian watched as the boy with the bright smile fumbled around to put his apron on. In all honesty Brian despised Kyrell. He was all too loud and cheery at 7am for any normal person to deal with. You'd expect someone like that to keep up team morale but all he actually did was make Brian's life ten times more inconvenient. Frankly Brian would rather work the morning rush completely alone than deal with the red haired boy for six hours.
Soon after, customers started coming into the shop. At first it was slow and manageable Kyrell using his people skills to work the register and Brian avoiding Kyrell by making the drinks. But a coffee shop early in the morning never stays peaceful for long. A long line was beginning to form behind the woman Kyrell was currently helping. He took everyone’s orders as quickly as possible faster than Brian was making the drinks.
“I’m swamped back here Kyrell!” Brian said urgently to his coworker. The red haired man quickly paused taking orders in order to help prepare the beverages. The two young men were running around like headless chickens attempting to meet the demand of the early morning commuters coming in for their morning caffeine.
“Large caramel macchiato for… Perry!” Brian shouted, placing the drink on the pickup counter. where a pink haired man took his drink. Brian sped walked to go back to pumping out drinks. Except he nearly walked straight into Kyrell who was holding a strawberry matcha. Brian huffed at the slightly shorter man but chose to ignore it because at the moment Brian had no time to be ticked off.
Throughout the whole time of the morning rush Brian just kept finding his flow being interrupted by Kyrell. For example Brian would be working on a specific order but Kyrell ever the oblivious would repeat said order. At this point Brian was starting to think Kyrell was purposely being irritating. The red haired guy just always found a method to get in Brian’s way.
Soon after the flow of customers began to fade into a slow trickle rather than the previous waterfall. Brian’s annoyance had been stewing the past few hours. At a certain point it started to make Brian want to rip his hair out. Usually he would just ignore it as he wasn’t one for confrontation. Especially when he has to see the person multiple times a week for hours at a time. But today the weight of the situation was dawning on him Brian would have to deal with his foolish coworker alone for the next 2 weeks. They had no mediator for the next while. Brian could not deal with the torment Kyrell’s carelessness brought.
So in order to fix his problems Brian began to hatch his plan. In between making drinks Brian would scribble his thoughts albeit very filtered thoughts onto his notepad. Brian knew planning a conversation was quite cringe and something only a teenager would do. But at this point he was fine with acting like an angsty teen. All he truly cared about was to knock some amount of sense into Kyrell. His plan was to find a quiet moment within the cafe and pull Kyrell to the back to talk. Now what was Brian going to say well he was debating. His options were “berate him about being careless and late every single day” or “politely ask him to come in on time”. I bet you could guess what Brian chose.
Soon his quiet moment came. The cafe was completely dead with no one in sight. Brian had to seize the moment before he chickened out like always. Brian walked over to the table in the corner that Kyrell was wiping down. He came up beside Kyrell and tapped him on the shoulder. Kyrell quickly turned around.
“What’s up?” Kyrell asked, his smile bright as ever. As soon as Brian saw that grin he started to contemplate whether crushing his coworkers' joy was worth it. Brian quickly snapped out of it knowing that he couldn’t let himself suffer for the next two weeks due to a little smile.
“Um, can I talk to you?” Brian asked, his tone awkward as usual. Kyrell nodded eagerly in response. Brian took a breath composing himself before speaking.
“You were late again today. Usually I’d ignore it. I'm not your boss but for the next two weeks we’re flying solo. So you’ve got to get here on time to help with preparing for opening. Oh and just watch where you’re going at this rate I’ll be getting soaked in chai every day.” Brian said his bitter tone peaking through even though he was trying his hardest to be kind. Kyrell’s expression sank, his usual smile completely gone.
“I understand. I’ll try harder.” Kyrell said his voice quieter than usual. Kyrell silently went back to wiping down tables. Brian walked away and back to the cashier area. Brian was conflicted because he was glad he stood up for himself but he also felt like he had just crushed the usually overly energetic boys spirit. But why should Brian even care, Kyrell was just his coworker or so he told himself.
