Last night it was definitely a very full house for the sold-out Right to Play Ball in its 3rd iteration with featured celebrity comedian and DJ Russell Peters taking place in the ballroom and terrace at the ever-swanky Shangri-La Hotel.
Many athlete ambassadors were the featured guests of the night including Canadian Olympic athletes Patrick Chan, Rosie MacLennan and many more. Other athlete alumni included Damon Allen (Toronto Argos) and Tie Domi (Toronto Maple Leafs). Shout out to my friend Jonathan Hood of the Toronto Argos.
Although Russell Peters wasnāt there to do comedy, he did crack a shocking joke before starting his set. And despite being one of the top 10 highest grossing comics in the U.S, he takes his job as a DJ seriously with absolutely no time for this photo with Glen Baxter and Tie Domi.

MasterCard Worldwide was the supporting partner for the second time. Congrats to Glen Baxter, Johann Koss, and Candice and Alison Events for another fun charity night.
Journalist and TV personality Glen Baxter started the Right to Play Ball in support of the charity, Right to Play, after self-funding his own charity trips.
āIām thrilled to be able to say the Right To Play Ball has emerged as one of Torontoās top philanthropic events. More than just a social setting, this is a great forum to contribute and raise awareness to an extremely worthy charityā, says Glen Baxter.
Also stay tuned with us for details on the new WEST bar at King West, where Glen is one of the 4 owners.

The party ended with dancing the night away to the tunes of Russell Peters followed by Lapelle Music. But first let me take a selfie or in this case, a āgroupieā.
