#cae thoughts

some miscellaneous thoughts about him:

aside from being a courier, he is also a student! he majors in earth science at the university you attend (if you're in university) or at the university closest to you (if you're not in university)

when it comes to his studies, he is more than diligent! studies hard so he can spend an adequate amount of time watching you :) on top of being a good student, he is also well-liked by most of his peers! he's very good at telling people what they want to hear it's not necessarily something he enjoys doing though; it really irritates him whenever he has to interact with someone else aside from the player for too long

in public environments, he will always try to make his personality far more bubbly and upbeat than it actually is. he likes the feeling of being trusted and/or looked down upon by someone :) gives him an easy point of leverage

he has piercings!!! he hides them with his hair because he doesn't think they fit congruently with his whole appearance — however, he would be more than willing to show them to you if you asked!! for those curious: these piercings include two helix piercings and a lobe piercing :) all very tame stuff (for now)

he's actually internally a very deeply violent and angry person! it really does not take a lot to make him mad 😭 (when it comes to people aside from the player) usually the type to seethe quietly but still possess enough self control to not flip out for someone — however, if it gets to the point where he's killing someone, then he's way too far gone to possess any sort of critical thinking skills LMAO loses basically all of the qualities about him that make him calculating and careful in these moments; will always end up very bloody and messy ^^;

Disregarding that, I just woke up from a nap. And reading what some of the other asks have been about recently I got a lil idea planted in my mind.... oughhh

Like ok hear me out. Mc and cae are cuddling right? Maybe chatting about random stuff that's come up recently, or interests of theirs. When Mc accidentally mentions one of their co-workers, a MALE coworker to be specific (no cuz why would they be thinking of another MAN???) And cae gets jealous. Do u see where this is heading cuz I do...

Ahem. Out of jealousy (and because hes a little shit) cae starts teasing mc and maybe this whole interaction ends up w/ a neck covered in specific marks i have forgotten how to spell.(⸝⸝⸝>﹏<⸝⸝⸝)

Im a freak i also lwk want some more fluff tho. I love when mc is allowed to be a clingy cuddle bug tho... I mean in my eyes they 100% are cuz like. Who doesn't like being a cuddle bug?

the sound of your voice is cae's favourite thing in the entire world. he loves listening to it as is — but what he loves even more is when it is directed at him, and only him.

despite already having been talking for the past half hour, you haven't slowed down in the slightest. your face takes on a variety of emotions, each one equally as vibrant as you recount and relive the events of your day. it's so unbearably comforting that he feels his eyelids getting heavy, head drooping forwards as he lets himself relax against you.

you pause in the middle of your sentence, smile suddenly dropping, "sorry, am i boring you?"

he hums absentmindedly, "no. keep going," pulling you onto his lap, he leans back into the couch to meet your eyes, "i'm listening."

a sputter is all you can force out, feeling his arms wrap around you, "but you're falling asleep…" it only takes a gentle touch to his cheek for him to sink into your touch, further confirming your suspicions.

"i'm not…" he mumbles, pressing lazy kisses into your palm, "you were talking about having to work overtime today."

your lips straighten into a thin line. there's not much left. i'll just go over it quickly, you decide, wanting to let cae rest.

when you start speaking again, cae notices how hesitant you've grown. you've clearly slowed down, omitting all the details that would make the stories you've told so distinctly you. the realization puts a bitter taste in his mouth.

he abruptly tightens his arms — the force sends you tumbling forwards, straight onto his chest. you let out a quiet gasp, barely bracing yourself with your hands. 

burying his face in your neck, he bites down lightly as a warning, "tell me more. why'd your boss get upset at you?"

you huff, "but you're not listening to me. your eyes were closed."

"i don't listen with my eyes, do i?" 

"you know that's not what i meant."

"go on," he continues to slowly kiss your neck, "i'm waiting."

the smug tone of his voice makes you frown.

"well, there was this coworker…" and only now do you realize how poorly cae might take the next few details. you try your best to change to change the subject as quickly as you can, hoping he would forget what he asked, "anyway, i found this—"

"hold on," he cuts you off immediately, fingers unconsciously squeezing around your waist. you sigh to yourself, anticipating his next question, "go back. which coworker?"

"he's just some guy, cae. i promise," you gently shrug him off your shoulder, taking his face in your hands, "i made sure to let him know i have a very amazing boyfriend that i wouldn't ever dream of leaving."

you observe his expression, hoping to see him calmer — instead, you're met with a deep set glare.

his eyebrows are pulled taut, cheeks puffing out like a chipmunk — it's terribly cute, and grows even cuter when his pout gets deeper. his eyes search yours, pupils blown wide and accusing. when he can't find what he's looking for, his anger drops in one swift motion.

"whatever," he grumbles, hugging you tight to his chest again, "i don't want to hear about him anymore."

i think his favourite pokemon would be whimsicott!! they are very cute to him

as for the ones that represent him, i think either marshadow or drifloon!!!

(i know nothing about pokemon so this is all based off vibes 🙇 quick little doodle as an apology)

8/10 fashion sense!!! doesn't think suuuper hard and intentionally about it, but just has a lot of clothes that naturally go well together

his style consists a lot of

earthy tones

really comfy and baggy clothing (bonus points if it has an interesting pattern or texture like corduroy shirts and wool cardigans)

also very big on thrifting!!! many of his "staple pieces" are just random things he picked up that were under $10

bundles up a lot in winter because he runs cold; doesn't wear as much in summer, but still avoids showing too much skin when he can

refrains from anything that contains recognizable logos or designs (such as various types of merch) due to him (sort of) being a public figure (repping various uni clubs, his workplace, any volunteering institutes, etc.)

his love language when it comes to giving would probably be acts of service! he might tease MC a lot on the way there but he always tries his best to make their life easier through the actions he takes (running MC's errands for them, helping them with any leftover they have, taking on most of the household responsibilities, etc.) his love languages when it comes to receiving would probably be words of affirmation and quality time! he likes to hear MC express their thoughts, especially when those thoughts help confirm his importance in their life. it's a similar philosophy for quality time — they could be spending the time with anyone else in the world, but chooses to spend it with him :) makes him very happy

the biggest one is an ability to be entirely true to themselves! although he is someone who gives off a very confident demeanour, he is very self-conscious and afraid of vulnerability. seeing this quality in others really intrigues him! some other miscellaneous ones: intelligence, loyalty, and obstinacy

the biggest one is a lack of self awareness! he thinks it's very unclassy when people lack humility and/or shame HAHAH some other miscellaneous ones: entitlement, hypocrisy, and naivety

he has a very big fear of being entirely powerless in a situation!

he would definitely try at least once! but if it's something that he really can't get into then he'll just settle for listening to MC talk about it anyway :) he likes to see their excitement and investment more than he cares about understanding what they're talking about
