Being Canadian and seeing PP lose his seat this week and then seeing essentially “double it and give it to the next guy” with Peter Dutton losing his is great ☺️

for those not in the know, you need a 47 for majority in the British Columbia elections! notably the POLLS ARE NOT CLOSED YET

but if this holds this means, the Greens will be Kingmakers for government in BC. Which means the smallest party with least amount of seats and votes gets to determine the government AND it means if they become discontent, they can collapse government and call an election early, notably significant amount of Tory seats would be NDP if the Greens didnt split the vote

This post isnt a ramble against third parties, its a ramble about how fucking idiotic First Past The Post is as a system, its a fundamentally idiotically flawed system of election and the fact BC had a fucking referendum for Proportional Representation and it didn't pass. Anywho, if polls dont hold and the Tories somehow take a majority, I'm gonna get murderous
