Since Caddy's not a FL OC, I usually don't talk of her here (or on socmeds really), so I'll give a brief rundown for folks who may not have met her yet:

Caddy's an interdimensional traveller with resurrective immortality, which are consequences of a contract with the Devil of her world. Due to a loophole, she regularly escapes Hell by digging herself up. She ends up in a different world each time, which is something she lacks control over. She hasn't been home in a long, long time.

But besides that and persistent loneliness, she's having fun with immortality :D

Started drawing these two ladies for my OCs-as-anthros side project, realised that they have A Lot in common, so I wanted to post them together :D

Caddy (she/her): settled on drawing her as an Appalachian cottontail because of the association with burrowing and running! Also, trickster anti-hero associations

I'm sure I've shown Caddy here before, but I don't think I've shared her lore update on socials. This changes now!

So basically: Due to an old deal, Caddy has resurrective immortality. Rumours say that she ends up in Hell after each death, but wherever she came from, she always digs her way out. Each time she surfaces, she'll always end up in a new world--this is random, with her rarely ever visiting the same universe twice.

Imagine being an old lady who made a deal with the Devil (one of many) for immortality. Imagine receiving resurrective immortality. Imagine agreeing to going to hell when you die, but never agreeing to staying there (for once, it feels like your lawyering days paid off)

So you dig yourself out of the ground, again and again. You find yourself in new worlds every time, rarely visiting the same world twice. You’re doomed to always run, but in your mind’s eye, it’s not so much a curse so much as it’s a double-edged opportunity.

And you would not be here where you are if you weren't so opportunistic.

Not a lot of people can (or would) follow you across universes. You know you'll never be happy with just staying in one place. You love people, but you can never stay. Your one constant companion across the multiverse is Death Itself (rather literal, as It’s one of the many incarnations of Death).
