OH DON’T YOU MIND that cold stare and serious mug; he’s grinning—on the inside. He’ll grin on the outside, too, when the disciplining exercises starts.

gaze  lifts  slowly  ,  but  eyes  focus  upon  him  first  ,  watching him  walk  through the  doors  to  the  familiar dingy  bar  that  she  so  often  occupied.   he  was  gone.  she  had  been  sure  of  it.  that  she  would  never  need  to  face  that  particular evil  again.  the  moment  she  recognizes  him  ,  a  shiver  runs  up  her  spine  ,  a  hard  swallow  and  fingers  curl  tighter  around her  glass.  turning back  to  face  the  bar  ,  she  downs  the  rest  of  the  amber  liquid  ,  relishing  in  a  familiar burn  while  her  hand  slipped into  her  purse  ,  curling her  fingers  around the  gun  that  was  hidden there.  she  would  never  be  caught  defenseless again.  she  would  never  let him  hurt  her.  hairs  on  her  neck  prickle  as  she  feels  him  approach ,  ʺ    here  I  was  hoping that  you  were  rotting  in  a  shallow grave  somewhere.    ʺ    lips  purse  tight  and  she  motions to  the  bartender for  another  ,  ʺ  wishful thinking  ,  I  guess.    ʺ 

      ‘ hey. hey! i know you, dickhead! ‘

doc’s van suddenly pulled to a halt, seeing roman on the street before almost flinging her door open. man, doc hadn’t actually felt furious in a good while which was mostly thanks to the weed honestly.

     “... and then he says, " ’rectum? i damn near killed ‘em!’" she laughed at her own joke, as she always does. nothing like a good dirty joke to break the ice between two highly sophisticated criminals right?

She scooted her chair closer holding out the awful candy to him in some sort of offering. ❛ Tell me, I have nothing better to do. ❜
