well, theyre both pretty stoic characters, so i think for the most part they would ignore each other. i cant see either of them finding the other one particularly interesting, so they wouldnt talk. if they actually did willingly interact in canon, it would probably result in violence. the maturity gap is huge and one of them is bound to piss the other off at some point if they interact for long enough. they have nothing in common except for aoba, so there wouldnt be any common ground for them. in canon it was basically like that - they interacted, what, once? twice? and barely, all they did was sit in the same room.

the fact that i dont ship them outside of an AU may also just have to do with environment. in canon, noiz is an emotionally stunted german teenager who cant feel anything and only joined aoba in platinum jail because he wanted a rhyme rematch. mink is a straight-faced middle-aged(?) man who only has his eyes set on revenge and joined aoba in order to attain it. outside of general emotionlessness, they have very conflicting personalities—noiz lives life on a whim while mink is very goal-driven. the mink and noiz from their good ends might get a long a bit better, with noiz slowly maturing and losing his previous recklessness, mink coming to peace with his personal history and no longer set on one ultimate goal, and both of them being kinder and more expressive. still, while they might tolerate each other, i doubt they would become friends. for one, they each wish to live in their respective homelands (noiz in germany and mink supposedly in america) and still lead very different lifestyles. mink lives in a secluded forest and seems to favor a domestic, settled-down feeling in his home, which makes sense considering his age. he did a lot of crazy shit and expected to die at the end of his quest, but he didnt, and im sure that left him very tired. noiz is the opposite. he lives most likely in a large city as well as a large house and works for his parents’ enormous company. his maturity isnt caught up to his physical age and hes seen very little of the world. im sure noiz would like to do some travelling and adventuring before completely settling down. even in re:connect, their personalities and lifestyles are incompatible.

in a college AU where they are roommates and drug buddies, they would likely get along much better. i doubt that AU mink is dead set on killing a man then himself for the genocide of his people or that noiz was locked in one room by his parents for several years. though dealing with each others’ personalities may be tiring or irritating for both of them sometimes, being roommated and drug buddies gives them a lot of time to become friendly, find common ground, and develop bonds. though i dont quite ship them romantically, i absolutely picture them as friends and im sure the sex is dynamite

tl;dr i dont ship noiz and mink outside of this one college AU because their lifestyles conflict and they probably wouldnt interest each other anyway
