Before Clive Owen played Dr. John Thackery in The Knick he starred in another medical drama set in 1900 called “Century” from 1993, where he played a young doctor of Scottish/ Jewish background called Dr. Paul Reisner. Clive’s character is just as passionate is Thack (sans the madness!) and he even sports his iconic Thackery mustache!
