The After Party || Nelson & Cassie
Cassie smiled at Nelson as they arrived at his little bungalow - It was a pretty place, the bungalow was. They all looked the same yet they all had a different atmosphere. It was a little weird, if anything. But his... It was nice. Cozy and comforting, if anything. "Nice place." She mumbled as they walked through the door, her hand sliding across the door frame. Hers was a little less crowded though - She had always preferred things to be neat and tidy, and she had always been thinking that she may have had some sort of OCD, even if it was only slight. She did get stressed out about things that weren't orderly, though, so she figured that that's how she associated OCD with herself. It was nothing too bad, though, and it didn't take over her life like she heard that in cases, it did for some other people.
"How... How was your day?" She asked, unsure of how to make conversation. The rest of that day was a blur, including the kiss - Yet she could still see it clearly in her head. It was just all mixed up nowadays - And she felt like she had to make up more conversation to make up for the lack of whatever else. She wondered what they were going to do here anyway - She knew it probably wasn't going to be anything other than talking and watching TV, or something, but still. Curiosity had killed the cat, so she was probably better off not asking about it. "I mean, well, I kind of know how your day was. Kind of." She said with a shrug, before shaking her head. Why did she carry on talking after asking a question? That always baffled her, but she couldn't help it. The brunette felt as if she had to justify everything she said with some back up statement.
Cassie wondered when it would get to the point that they would actually go to the library and do anything about the whole astronomy thing. It was weird - She never really committed to things and stayed on track with them, so part of her doubted that they would ever go. "What do you like?" She asked after a while, running a hand through her hair as she looked around the place. "Since you know I like astronomy. And I know that you like, uh, other stuff. You have an unfair advantage here." She finished off lamely, rolling her eyes at what she said. But it was true - He knew more things about her than she did about him, and she was intrigued by the blonde. She did remember about how he wanted to be an engineer, but that wasn't exactly something that she could bring up in a conversation. What did she know about cars and fixing things? Sadly, not that much.
