this started as a warm up / study for another piece, and then I started thinking about episode 128. Am I aware that she was using an illusion to change her face? Yes. Is this stopping me? No, absolutely not.

Also nothing will top Fjord attempting to be inconspicuous by pretending he works at a bar directly in front of the actual bartender when he could have just... sat and ordered a drink instead NOTHING that half-orc is wild and I love him with my whole d*ke heart
The WORST part of watching another d&d game for me is moments like tonight when characters in a time crunch spend time they don't have debating pros and cons of a plan I was SCREAMING at my screen the whole time the M9 were debating who goes in the HFB and whether its a good idea or not when super spies are literally breaking into the tower as they speak.
As a player I totally understand because it is iust moments of sheer panic but when you have to just watch damnnn
So, from a DM standpoint, I wonder how Matt plays it tomorrow:
1) Run the HFB crew first and then postpone their exit until whenever he wants during the other storyline. This way they can pop out at a dramatic or funny moment.
2) Run one day's worth of time in the "real" world and the flashback to the HFB, since a straight run to the exit would likely take that long.
I'd initially thought it would be #2, just as a linear story telling thing, but #1 looks like more fun.*
*I'm assuming the HBF will essentially be a cakewalk unless Fjord is deliberately stupid.
No one died or was captured in an episode that took place after one of the most dire cliffhangers of the campaign?

Ok I’m real worried about what’s going to happen to Wensforth and Yussa.
I understand her paranoia, but Jester (not Laura) made the wrong call. The HFB is a known danger (as long as they aren't exploring). The plane shift, OTOH...
Noncombatants should have gone into the lifeboat with an escort is what I'm saying.
They all feel so validated!
