Nein Again music for Episode 53: Cornered under the cut!
At 9:05, when we come back from the intro cinematic, Winds of Vol'dun from World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth had already started about a minute earlier. It plays through the recap and the start of play.
At 13:40, Val'sharah from World of Warcraft: Legion plays as Fjord's dream scene begins. I've linked the OST version below. The two halves of the song (splitting at about 1:30 with that ominous oboe) are also on the OST and in-game. The first half plays in the Azsuna zone and is named Winds Out of the East. Here is the OST version of Winds Out of the East, as well as short variants available in this compilation. The second half plays in the Val'sharah zone but is confusingly titled Nos'Sarah (starting with the ominous oboe), which is available in an OST version and plays in shorter variants in this other compilation.
At 34:00, Dalaran music from World of Warcraft plays as the Nein discuss what to reveal about the Beacon/stand. This theme has been redone numerous times, but the quality leads me to believe it's a variant from the Legion expansion. There's still several versions, but you can find them in the compilation below.
At 37:30, Sacred Stone from WoW: Legion plays while we do a flashback to the night prior for Jester's Sendings to Yeza. I've linked the OST version below, and the shorter variants are in the same Azsuna compilation as Winds Out of the East.
I'm still looking for the song with the flute that begins at 44:50. I'm pretty confident it's Battle for Azeroth ambient music due to the prominence of the flute, but the closest I've found is the Kul Tiras Sky Day set, which is compiled here. However, the Sky Day motif is different enough that I can't be totally sure that I'm looking for a BoA track. I'll keep looking around.
At about 48:40, one of the Stormsong themes from WoW: Battle for Azeroth plays as the Nein arrive for their moorbounder training sessions. I've linked the OST version below, and here is a Stormsong Valley compilation that breaks out the different versions from the game files.
At about 59:30 or so, the Stormsong themes repeat.
At about 1:12:45, the Dalaran themes repeat as the Nein make their way through the town in the direction of the Four Corners tavern.
At 1:30:05, Sacred Stone themes repeat as the Nein speak to Madam Musk.
Around 1:43:30 or so, Stormsong themes repeat as the Nein move on to investigate Potis's house.
At 1:50:05, Winds of Vol'dun repeat as Fjord urges everyone to go get food and they head for the Four Corners.
At 2:12:35, Matt switches the track to Gilneas from Hearthstone: the Witchwood as he describes the interior of the Four Corners tavern. I've timestamped it in a compilation below, and I'll link each Hearthstone song to this video.
At 2:15:40, Blood Moon from Hearthstone plays as Matt describes the the ogre that just finished a fight before the Nein entered.
At 2:18:50, The Grand Bazaar from WoW: Battle for Azeroth plays as Matt describes the other recovering combatants and the ogre gives some exposition to Beau about the fights.
At 2:24:25, Twisted Path from Hearthstone plays as Caduceus orders breakfast and Beau heads over to Dairon (in disguise as a drow).
At 2:27:30, Blood Moon repeats as Nott pickpockets a healing potion.
At 2:30:30, Twisted Path repeats as Fjord pretends to be drunk while bothering Dairon.
At 2:33:35, The Grand Bazaar replays as Beau decides to drop a jade stone in the pit for an open challenge.
At 2:39:15, Gilneas replays while Matt returns with the map and the Nein decide their positions.
At 2:41:10, Matt switches to Heart of Sethraliss from WoW: Battle for Azeroth while everyone rolls initiative.
At 2:45:20, the PvP (2-4) theme mix that Matt used last episode plays as Beau gets stunned. I've timestamped PvP 2 in the compilation below, with 3 and 4 following.
From there, the combat playlist mixes Heart of Sethraliss and PvP themes throughout the fight. I caught Heart of Sethraliss repeating at 2:56:15 and 3:22:30, but otherwise it was mostly PvP themes.
At 3:23:05, Matt switches back to Blood Moon from Hearthstone once Jester and Beau return to the group.
At 3:26:10, Twisted Path aptly replays as Fjord immediately gets lost when he goes out the back door.
At 3:29:10, The Grand Bazaar replays as Nott laments that they need a leader to decide where they're going and Beau follows Dairon into a storage shed. This song continues through the end of the episode.
That’s all for this week!
