Nerve had been minding her business as usual, simply walking down one of the side streets off the Mainline, when some asshole on a skateboard collided with her. Down she went, slamming her back hard on the pavement as she fell. “For fuck’s sake...” She started, moving to sit up as the words left her mouth in a low growl. “Watch where you’re going, asshat.” It was moments like this she was glad she couldn’t feel pain. Otherwise, she knew her back would probably be beyond sore given how screwed up it already was. Hell, she expected to find a decent sized bruise when she got back to headquarters.
