𝑎 𝑤𝑜𝑚𝑎𝑛 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑣𝑎𝑙𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑎 𝑖𝑠 𝑑𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑒𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑠. she's the type of drug shia finds themselves addicted to most often, the kind they go reaching for on late nights on early mornings ; 𝚊 𝚏𝚒𝚡 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚑𝚒𝚝𝚜 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚏𝚞𝚌𝚔𝚒𝚗' 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎. it's been a short while since val and shia have become entangled, but long before then, the kingpin had eyes on her. it started with ink and then turned to smoke. before long, she'd dug her claws into their back deep enough to hold a firm grip on the otherwise aloof bossman. 𝖓𝖔𝖜, 𝖘𝖍𝖎𝖆 𝖈𝖆𝖓'𝖙 𝖘𝖊𝖊𝖒 𝖙𝖔 𝖌𝖊𝖙 𝖊𝖓𝖔𝖚𝖌𝖍. the warehouse is packed to the brim for another night of debauchery and product movement as shia sits on their throne overlooking it from high above. 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑚𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑡𝑜 ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑚𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑐, lights and colors glittering over top of them in time to the beat that shakes the floor beneath the kingpins feet. on their lap, comfortably curled up against shia's chest and nursing a joint the two of them are sharing, is valeria. her voice barely cuts above the music, but shia can hear her just fine, 𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚝𝚘𝚘 𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚞𝚗𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚋𝚛𝚎 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚌𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝'𝚜 𝚋𝚎𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚊 𝚜𝚒𝚛𝚎𝚗 𝚜𝚘𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚖 𝚊𝚜 𝚘𝚏 𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚎.
