“quite a camping trip, huh?” dianna asked levi once he slid into the chair in front of her. every now and then, dianna took her lunch to cornelia st. to hang out with levi and take a break from the store. all of the information she had learned in the past couple days about charlie, dante, and miles was swimming in her head. the most confusing part for her, of course, was levi’s involvement. with some of her dearest friends involved, dianna was eager to understand levi’s side better. “most of the time, i am glad to be semi-removed from all of lake wisteria’s childhood drama but it would have been nice to have some context,” she mused as she ate her pasta salad. “how are you doing?”

dianna did the dishes as she waited for levi to come over. outside the window by the sink she could see zac finishing up his chores before the sun hid completely, watering the flowers the two of them had planted together. she smiled as zac recognized levi’s car, dumping the water on the flowers quickly so he could run up and meet him. dianna chuckled, drying her hands on her apron before taking it off and walking outside to meet levi. zac was already busy catching levi up on all the details of his day by the time dianna caught up with them. “hey lev,” she said warmly, smiling up at him. levi’s presence always filled her with a sense of security. she never doubted his word, not once, when he said he’d come over she knew always to expect him. he had never failed her, not once. and yet, every time he did show up, she was overwhelmed with relief. “oh, you brought the good stuff,” she said as she eyed the ice cream and wine in his arms. “thank you for coming,” dianna teased, winking an eye at @leviastcn​
