Rain patters on the window as Cooper enters the little shop, bell tinging as the door swings closed behind him. As much as enjoys this kind of weather, it has a tendency to leave him smelling like wet dog, so he tries to avoid it as much as possible. 

Taking stock of his surroundings with a quick glance, Cooper makes his way up to the little counter.

“I can see why that wouldn’t have gone over well. 

  But more importantly, why on earth would you call a woman a goat anyway?”

Cooper shrugs, slightly bashful though largely unconcerned.

He’s standing in the middle of the aisle like a goddamn loser, but has Cooper noticed? No. He’s too busy studying the fruit held in his hand.

This kid. This kid looks like he’ll be the one to appreciate what Cooper has to say.

“Have you seen that video, the one where the guy and the dog do the thing?”

Sweat beads down his face as Cooper rounds the corner, enjoying his own space and his own mind as he jogs. He’s aiming for the park, where he can run amongst the greenery for a while before turning around.

Reaching his halfway point, he stops, hand on a tree as he catches his breath. The fact that there’s someone else sitting at the base of the tree catches him completely by surprise.

The full moon was approaching and every second that passed just reminded Cooper of the truth. His senses were heightened, his mind was racing and his son was just growing more and more irritating. He hated this, six months ago everything in his life had changed and he was still struggling to find any sort of control. “Tate, please.” Cooper barked as his son began running through the library. “Get over here.” His tone tense and thick as he took the child’s hand and guided him out of the public building. 

Cooper flashed the other a somewhat weary grin. This was strange to say the very least. Interviewing someone to take care of his son while he goes out and begins to take the reigns on his father’s corporation. Cooper didn’t want to do this, really. He wanted to stay home with Tate every single day and let the company go to whoever wanted it most. But maybe it was better to get a little break from him... Maybe. “I- I don’t really know what I’m suppose to even really ask..” His voice trailed off as he brought the cup of coffee to his lips.
