It's been a minute since a log! TBH I've been in a funk recently but the days keep coming so I've been pushing through and being as productive as I can be.

Personal Things 🌱

I had my birthday a few days ago, I'm a big 27 🎉. Had a really chill day and went to brunch with family.

Had a loss in my family. It wasn't unexpected, but still a bummer. Spending some time remembering them and supporting family 💖

Went to a dance class with my roommate. It was a hip-hop class and this lanky bean looked awkward af but still had fun lol.

I had an interview for the reach job I applied for last week! It went okay, I'm hoping they advance me to the next round. If not, it was great experience and I'd totally apply to the company again once I get some more experience.

I tried to get through some TryHackMe SOC 1 courses, but I didn't really retain anything. It was just one of those days.

I did get through seven levels of OverTheWire. I'm loving it and am learning/reinforcing so much of my terminal knowledge. I had to look up some guides to get through some levels but I went back after and redid the seven levels to reinforce what I had learned.

Other Things 👾

Shinedown's album The Sound of Madness is still on repeat in my car.

I made a really good salmon and rice bowl today. I'm also trying to focus on making sure I eat vegetables and not just carbs with every meal... #adulting!

Got my hair cut! I've been going shorter every time and I love it.

I've been listening to more music as I do things around the house and it makes life just so much more enjoyable

Applied to three more jobs. One of them I'm really excited about -It's a reach, but it's in the field I want to end up in and I would have regretted not applying.

Completed lessons and labs on content discovery, subdomain enumeration, authentication bypass and IDOE vulnerabilities on TryHackMe.

Other Things 👾

I stopped by a cd store and a thrift store for some CDs. Got a good haul and listened to Shinedown's album The Sound of Madness on the way home. I forgot how much I loved that album as a tween!

I got a bottle of Snoop Dog's wine. I want to use it as a candle holder once it's empty lol. It's pretty good too and cheap.

Suga from BTS was in my dream last night. He's the only member that has been in them which I find really funny.
